Do you know what you've done,
That forced me to run?
The bar had been set,
And I wasn't done yet,
But it was all so insane,
That I just couldn't keep playing.
So I hitched up my pack,
And I put it all to my back.
This game's not for me,
It's to difficult, see?
From one to the next,
To find out who's best,
And it's got me delirious,
And this can't be so serious.
I just wanted one thing,
Never wanted a fling.
I gave it my all,
Just to stumble and fall.
So I'm done, I quit,
There's no room for this shit.
These pieces keep breaking,
And I can't keep staking
My all on this one part of my life,
When it breeds naught but strife.
I'm off to learn who I am and nobody else,
To discover who I am in my deepest self.
Maybe I'll find that I'm not done for good,
And I'll end up doing what I should.

Darkness
All consuming Darkness,
Slithering through the world unseen,
Twisting till nothing is as it once has been,
Leaving the world lifeless.
Fun and love destroyed,
Happiness it seeks.
Persisting till one's annoyed
And one breaks.
The Darkness never leaves,
Like water one could believe,
Changes for it needs
But let's you bleed.
Accompanying one restless,
Keeping others at bay.
Stepping on one as one lay,
Ever consuming Darkness.

Hunger and Desparation
A boy slowly walked through the snow; trudging, dragging his boots as he went. Hunger panged at him like a punch in the stomach, and he was almost nothing but skin and bones. He stumbled through the snow, as the whirling winds sent the snow dancing about, like little grey faeries, taunting him as they spun. He stumbled on slowly, dragging his old boots behind. He was covered in cloth and had only a rifle upon his back, his hands shaking from hunger.
For the last few days, he had hunkered down in the basement of an abandoned house as the cold came down in the freezing month of January like an icy hammer. He thought he had enough food. He was

The encounter
I looked forward to see a dragons huge chest close enough for me to touch. I look up to see the dragons long neck.
It wasn’t a giant dragon, but it wasn’t tiny. It could swallow me whole though I bet it could.
There was a lump moving from its head down to its neck. It must have just swallowed something. I watched as the lump quickly moved down the dragons neck , then disappeared into its chest. I could hear whatever it swallowed as it entered its stomach, but I could hear something else as well.
I could hear a heartbeat. I knew it wasn’t mine, I could tell the heart must have been in its check right in front of me, or some
